Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator/Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining smooth office operations, managing financial records, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, proficiency with accounting software like QuickBooks, and experience working in a professional office environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while utilizing your clerical and bookkeeping expertise.

Duties

Manage daily office operations, including front desk responsibilities and multi-line phone systems
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
Handle bookkeeping tasks such as invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations using QuickBooks
Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors, ensuring positive interactions and professional communication
Organize and file documents efficiently, including digital files and physical records
Support administrative functions such as proofreading documents, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars
Assist with medical or dental office tasks if applicable, including patient check-in/out and insurance processing
Maintain organization of office supplies and ensure the workspace is tidy and functional
Perform clerical duties such as typing correspondence, managing email communications, and supporting team members as needed

Requirements

Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with strong organizational skills
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and general computer skills
Experience with data entry, filing systems, and document proofreading
Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette for handling front desk duties and multi-line phone systems
Background in bookkeeping or accounting is highly desirable
Previous experience in medical or dental offices is a plus but not required
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to support team members with administrative tasks efficiently

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
