Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components using MIG welding techniques, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, and custom fabrication, in a fast-paced industrial environment. Candidates with strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various tools and schematics will thrive in this role.

Nuhn Industries Ltd. is a family-owned agricultural manufacturing company and we’re hiring a MIG Welder to join our growing production team. This position is available to fill a current vacancy in our fabrication team, and you’ll be joining an established, experienced group. Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on various metal components according to blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions to ensure accurate fabrication
Operate hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
Use calipers and basic math skills to measure materials precisely for cutting and welding tasks
Rigging of materials and components as needed for assembly or installation processes
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety standards
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality expectations

Skills

Proficiency in MIG welding; experience with TIG welding is a plus
Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, assembly, and construction processes
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately
Experience operating plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, forklifts, cranes, and other heavy machinery
Familiarity with rigging techniques and the use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes
Knowledge of manufacturing standards related to ductwork, structural steel, or similar projects
Ability to work safely around welding equipment, cranes, forklifts, and other industrial machinery
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment

$25–$38/hour (based on experience)
