Airbnb & Furnished Rentals Specialist

Customer Service, Operations & Listing Management

We are looking for an organized, proactive Airbnb & Furnished Rentals Specialist to manage the day-to-day operations of our furnished rental units, primarily for stays of 31 days or more.

The person will be responsible for the entire guest experience from preparing and publishing the listing to coordinating the stay, resolving issues, and ensuring the unit is ready for the next guest.

Main ResponsibilitiesListing & Pricing Management

Create, publish and maintain Airbnb listings.
Ensure descriptions, photos, amenities and property information are accurate.
Adjust rental prices based on availability, demand, seasonality and market conditions.
Update availability and prevent booking/calendar errors.
Recommend promotions or pricing adjustments to improve occupancy.
Monitor listing performance and suggest improvements.

Guest Communication & Customer Service

Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries and booking requests.
Answer questions regarding units, buildings, parking, amenities and move-in procedures.
Communicate with guests before arrival, during their stay and before departure.
Handle complaints, maintenance requests and other guest concerns.
Coordinate solutions with building managers, maintenance staff and management.
Follow up with guests to ensure issues have been resolved.

Move-In & Move-Out Coordination

Confirm units are completely ready before guest arrival.
Coordinate cleaning, maintenance and preparation.
Verify furniture, linens, towels, kitchen supplies and other advertised items.
Organize keys, access cards, fobs and parking remotes.
Provide guests with arrival, access and building instructions.
Coordinate key collection/return at the end of the stay.
Arrange inspections when required.

Unit Preparation & Quality Control

Maintain a checklist for every furnished unit.
Ensure units are clean, properly furnished and fully equipped.
Identify missing, damaged or worn items and arrange replacements.
Coordinate cleaners, maintenance staff and suppliers.
Maintain appropriate inventory of linens, household supplies and guest essentials.
Ensure that everything advertised in the listing is actually available in the unit.

Booking & Administrative Management

Maintain accurate records of all reservations.
Track guest name, property/unit, dates, rental amount, deposits and other relevant information.
Coordinate booking information with the rental and accounting departments.
Report cancellations, refunds, damages or disputes.
Assist accounting with information required to reconcile Airbnb payouts.
Maintain organized records of guest communications and incidents.

Damage & Issue Management

Document damages with photos and reports.
Communicate with guests regarding damages when necessary.
Prepare and submit Airbnb damage claims or disputes.
Coordinate repairs and replacements.
Follow up on claims, reimbursements and resolutions.

Overall Property Management Support

Act as the main point of contact for furnished-rental guests.
Coordinate between guests, cleaners, janitors, maintenance, rental agents and management.
Conduct or coordinate periodic inspections of furnished units.
Help establish procedures to improve the furnished-rental operation.
Identify recurring guest issues and recommend improvements.
Ensure a professional and consistent guest experience across all properties.

Ideal Candidate

Strong customer-service and communication skills.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple units and reservations simultaneously.
Comfortable working with Airbnb and online rental platforms.
Experience in hospitality, property management, Airbnb or furnished rentals is an asset.
Able to handle urgent guest issues calmly and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and follow-up.
Comfortable coordinating cleaners, maintenance personnel and suppliers.
Good computer and administrative skills.
Bilingual French and English preferred.
Available to respond to occasional urgent matters outside regular business hours.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
