**This Position is Temporary - Seasonal **

We are a Taphouse overlooking beautiful Torbay, NL. Located just minutes from St. John's, we aim to not only offer beverages and food, but a complete experience for our guests.

Watch the waves crash against the shores from our dining room/bar or large outdoor patio.

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Food Runner/Busser, where your energy and enthusiasm will elevate the dining experience for every guest. In this vital role, you will ensure seamless service by delivering food promptly, clearing tables efficiently, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for our guests, fostering a welcoming atmosphere that keeps them coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, lively setting.

Responsibilities

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to tables swiftly and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are met.
Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area.
Assist servers with food and beverage service as needed, supporting smooth restaurant operations.
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping down tables, chairs, and floors to uphold food safety standards.
Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation or replenishing supplies during busy periods.

Skills

Previous food service experience in restaurants or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
