Full job description

Star Motors Mercedes-Benz is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Full-Time Parts Shipper/Receiver to join our Parts Department. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in accuracy, and are committed to providing outstanding internal and external customer service, we'd like to hear from you.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, organizing, and shipping automotive parts while ensuring inventory accuracy and supporting the daily operations of our dealership.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts shipments for accuracy and damage.
Unpack, label, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
Pick and prepare parts for technicians, wholesale customers, and retail customers.
Package and ship parts using various courier and freight services.
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with regular inventory counts.
Process returns, warranty parts, and core returns according to manufacturer guidelines.
Keep the parts warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
Operate material handling equipment safely, including pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if required).
Assist the Parts Advisors with locating and retrieving parts.
Follow all dealership safety policies and Mercedes-Benz standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Parts Manager.

Qualifications

Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience is preferred.
Automotive parts or dealership experience is considered a strong asset.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (tire hauler) and work on your feet throughout the day.
Comfortable using computers and inventory management systems.
Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
