TWINCON ENTERPRISES LTD. is a growing civil construction company specializing in earthworks, excavation, rock breaking, drilling and blasting, and subdivision development throughout the South Okanagan. With over 15 years of industry experience and a large fleet of heavy equipment, TwinCon is recognized for delivering high-quality work while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and teamwork.

As our company continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Class 1 Construction Driver to join our operations team.

This position involves operating a variety of Class 1 vehicles and hauling equipment and construction materials to and from job sites throughout the Okanagan Valley, including urban, rural, and mountain environments.

Responsibilities

Operate a variety of Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally.
Transport equipment, aggregates, and construction materials to and from project sites.
Operate equipment such as tractor trailers, dump trucks, side dumps, end dumps, water trucks, lowbeds, vac trucks, and other commercial vehicles as required.
Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Perform routine equipment servicing and report mechanical issues.
Follow company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Work independently and collaboratively with site crews and supervisors.
Support daily construction operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Minimum five (5) years of Class 1 commercial driving experience.
Valid Class 1 driver's licence with air brake endorsement.
Clean driver's abstract.
Experience operating a variety of construction vehicles such as dump trucks, water trucks, tractor trailers, side dumps, end dumps, lowbeds, or similar heavy commercial equipment.
Experience hauling heavy equipment or construction materials is considered an asset.
Ability to operate safely in construction zones and varying terrain.
Strong equipment care practices, including daily inspections and reporting maintenance concerns.
Ability to work independently, follow direction, and prioritize multiple tasks.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Basic computer and mobile app skills are considered an asset.
Commitment to safe work practices.
