Join a Growing Technology Solutions Company

Empire Communications Inc. (ECI) is a leading provider of business technology solutions throughout Southwestern Ontario. We specialize in Security, Access Control, Video Surveillance, Structured Cabling, Hosted Voice, and Business Communications.

We are looking for an experienced B2B Technology Sales Professional who has a proven history of generating new business and consistently exceeding sales targets.

This is not an entry-level Sales role. We are looking for someone who enjoys prospecting, networking, building relationships, and closing complex technology sales.

What You'll Do:

Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold calling, and client visits.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Meet with business owners, executives, property managers, contractors, and IT professionals to understand their technology needs.
Conduct approximately 3-5 in-person client meetings each week.
Prepare professional proposals and present customized technology solutions.
Develop long-term relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals.
Work closely with our Administrative & Service Team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation.
Represent Empire Communications professionally within the local business community and networking organizations.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants who do not meet these minimum qualifications are unlikely to be considered.

Minimum 5 years of successful B2B technology sales experience.
Demonstrated history of achieving $1 million or more in annual sales.
Experience selling one or more of the following:

* Structured Cabling

* Video Surveillance

* Access Control

* Telecommunications

* Voice & Data Solutions

* IT Infrastructure

* Commercial Security Systems

Proven ability to generate new business through prospecting and cold calling—not simply managing existing accounts.
Active participant in professional networking groups, business associations, or community organizations.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Valid Ontario driver's licence with a clean driving record.
Legally permitted to work in Canada.

This is an in-office position in Cambridge with daily attendance required.
