Full job description

We are currently looking for a dependable, safety-conscious Class 1 Bulk Feed Delivery Driver to deliver bulk livestock feed to poultry, dairy, and livestock farms across the province.

If you enjoy driving, working independently, and building relationships with customers, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Operate a Class 1 tractor-trailer equipped with a bulk feed trailer.
Deliver livestock feed safely and accurately to customer farms throughout Nova Scotia.
Operate hydraulic and pneumatic unloading equipment.
Complete pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
Maintain electronic logs, delivery documentation, and inspection reports.
Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch.
Perform basic vehicle care and report maintenance concerns.
Follow all company policies, Hours of Service regulations, and safety procedures.
Provide excellent customer service while representing Evangeline Transport.

QualificationsRequired

Valid Nova Scotia Class 1 Driver's Licence (or equivalent Canadian Class 1 licence).
Air Brake (Q) Endorsement.
Clean driver's abstract.
Eligible to work in Canada.
Strong safety record.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred

2+ years of Class 1 driving experience.
Experience operating pneumatic or bulk feed trailers.
Agricultural or farm delivery experience.
Mechanical aptitude is considered an asset.

Physical Requirements

Ability to climb ladders and access trailer equipment safely.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
