Full job description

Job Summary
K2 Electric Ltd. is currently seeking experienced Journeyman and Apprentice Carpenters to join our team for projects upcoming in August 2026. Successful candidates will work on a variety of commercial and industrial construction projects, both locally in Prince George and on remote project sites throughout British Columbia.

This position may involve remote work, shift schedules, and living-out allowances (LOA) depending on project requirements.

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans.
Understanding of construction estimating processes.
Perform concrete forming, rebar, structural installations and masonry work with precision.
Ensure work is completed safely and in accordance with project requirements and safety standards
Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively.
Measure materials accurately for construction estimating and project planning.
Ability to lift heavy loads safely and work in physically demanding environments.
Collaborate with team members and subcontractors to ensure timely project completion

Qualifications

Experience working as a Carpenter Apprentice or Journeyman in commercial or industrial construction
Pervious Forman experience considered an asset
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Experience with concrete formwork and general carpentry practices
Knowledge of worksite safety standards; safety training and/or First Aid certification considered an asset
Previous experience working on BC Hydro project sites is considered an asset
Equipment operator experience or with training tickets is considered an asset
Red Seal certification is considered an asset
Ability to provide clean drivers abstract
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship.

Pay: $30.90-$55.10 per hour
