Full job description

FMP Group LP is hiring a Dual Journeyperson Pipefitter & Millwright for a long-term, site-based maintenance contract in Redwater. This permanent, non-union position is ideal for local tradespeople seeking steady maintenance work, predictable hours, and long-term stability — not shutdown or project-based employment.

Duties

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on piping systems and mechanical equipment
Install, align, maintain, and troubleshoot rotating and static equipment
Complete valve work, piping repairs, and minor fabrication
Diagnose mechanical issues and safely complete repairs
Read and interpret maintenance drawings and blueprints
Follow all safety, quality, and OH&S requirements

Requirements

Journeyperson certification as BOTH Pipefitter and Millwright (Alberta CoQ or Interprovincial Red Seal)
Industrial maintenance experience
Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driver abstract
Ability to meet site and pre-employment requirements

Required safety tickets (prior to start):

CSTS-2020
WHMIS 2015
H2S Alive
Fall Protection
Confined Space and Entry Monitoring
Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing
