On-Site Building Manager
Squamish, BC
Full-Time, Permanent

Overview
We are hiring a detail-oriented Building Administrator to manage daily operations at a residential rental property in Squamish. This is a hands-on, in-person role combining office administration, tenant communication, and maintenance responsibilities.

Ideal for someone with strong time management, organization, and follow-through who can work independently and keep tasks moving to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Administration & Coordination

Answer calls and emails; maintain accurate records and files
Coordinate vendors, tenant inquiries, conduct maintenance
Work closely with on-site maintenance and track work orders to completion
Communicate with head office on turnover, capital projects, and day to day operations.
Notify leasing team on availability, applications, and updates
Tenant Support & Arrears
Respond to tenant inquiries and ensure follow-through
Monitor rent payments and follow up on arrears
Issue notices and maintain proper documentation

Leasing Support

Conduct showings and respond to rental inquiries
Assist with applications in coordination with head office

Move-In / Move-Out

Complete inspections with detailed documentation
Coordinate turnovers with maintenance

Maintenance & Property Upkeep

Clean common areas inside and outside as needed (vacuuming, mopping, spot cleaning, garbage removal)
Prepare vacant units (maintenance and cleaning as needed)
Ensure property is clean and presentable at all times
Handle maintenance such as leaks, drywall repair, painting, carpentry and landscaping.
Emergency on call

Requirements

2+ years admin, property management, or office experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent time management and ability to prioritize
Proven follow-through and task completion
Strong communication and customer service skills
Problem-solving and creative mindset
Proficient in Microsoft Office (property management software an asset)
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
