Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong multitasking skills, and experience in food and beverage service. Previous experience with POS systems such as Maitre D is preferred. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a lively environment while ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems, including Micros POS
Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas
Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling standards
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns
Manage multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours with effective time management
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and verify guest IDs when necessary
Assist in setting up and closing down the bar or dining area as required

Qualifications

Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Experience in hospitality or the food industry is a plus
Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol and handle cash transactions

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
