Full job description

Job Summary 2 Shifts Available 1:00 Thru 5:00PM, 4:00 Thru 8:00PM

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian/Janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure a clean, sanitary, and organized environment that promotes health and productivity. This role is vital in supporting the overall operations and appearance of our premises, contributing to a positive experience for employees and visitors alike.

Duties

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards.
Conduct deep cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure hygiene compliance.
Replenish supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed.
Maintain floors by vacuuming carpets and stripping or waxing hard surface floors.
Perform minor maintenance tasks or report repairs needed for facilities or equipment.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Proven experience in cleaning, especially commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality.
Knowledge of proper cleaning chemicals, tools, and safety procedures.
Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks and identify when repairs are necessary.
Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that require standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and walking for extended periods.
Excellent organizational skills to manage supplies and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following established procedures.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
