Blue Mountain Fruit Company is hiring an Operations Coordinator to join our team!

The Operations Coordinator plays an integral role in supporting the daily operations of Blue Mountain Fruit Company. Working closely with all departments, this position is responsible for providing administrative support while helping coordinate key operational activities, including order entry, scheduling, and logistics.

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with a positive attitude who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is interested in building a long-term career with Blue Mountain Fruit Company. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and takes pride in keeping daily operations running smoothly.

Daily Responsibilities

Receive, process, and enter customer sales orders.
Create and coordinate daily apple sorting and packing schedules.
Coordinate inbound and outbound freight logistics.
Prepare and maintain staff schedules.
Perform Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system data entry and maintain accurate records.
Organize and maintain digital and paper filing systems.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to general inquiries.
Order office supplies and packaging materials.
Provide administrative support to the sales and operations teams as required.

Essential Qualifications

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrates customer service and interpersonal skills.
Interest in operations, logistics, and continuous process improvement.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using ERP software.
Previous experience in logistics, transportation coordination, manufacturing, or the produce industry.
Basic accounting knowledge or experience is considered an asset.

Skills & Abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
Strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Conditions of Employment

Valid Ontario Class G driver's licence.
Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
Full-time position (40 hours per week).
Flexibility to work additional hours during peak production periods and weekends as required.
