Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tow Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely towing vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient operations. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, vehicle handling, and safety procedures to deliver exceptional service in various situations.

Responsibilities

Safely operate tow trucks and related equipment to recover and transport vehicles.
Assist customers with vehicle recovery, ensuring a positive experience through professional communication and service.
Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on tow trucks and equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
Manage paperwork accurately, including documentation of services performed and vehicle details.
Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during operations.
Coordinate with dispatchers and other team members to prioritize jobs and ensure timely completion.
Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues with vehicles or equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tow truck and work area.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Mechanical knowledge or experience in automotive repair is preferred.
Customer service skills to handle interactions professionally and courteously.
Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is a plus.
Prior experience in commercial driving or towing is advantageous.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects when necessary.
Strong attention to safety procedures and detail-oriented mindset. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills while providing essential services within the transportation industry. We value professionalism, safety, and customer satisfaction in our team members.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
