Overview

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Junior Florist to join our team. This entry-level role offers an opportunity to develop skills in floral design, customer service, and retail operations within a floral shop environment. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in floral design, houseplants, and horticulture, along with strong communication and organizational skills.

Duties

Creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, ensuring high-quality standards.
Support the display and merchandising of flowers and related products to attract customers.
Handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with selections, answering questions, and offering floral care advice.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor, storage areas, and workstations.
Contribute to e-commerce operations by updating online product listings and managing orders.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming shopping experience.

Experience

Knowledge of floral design & plants is preferred.
Previous experience in retail sales or customer service.
Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and merchandising is a plus.
Organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
