Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to oversee daily operations at our bustling dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, maintaining a welcoming environment for guests, and overall responsibility of bar operations. Previous restaurant management experience, including supervising teams and handling food service operations, is essential to succeed in this position.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling team members.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
Manage daily restaurant operations, including POS transactions and cash handling procedures.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
Maintain high levels of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
Enforce health and safety policies to create a safe environment for staff and guests.
Develop staff schedules, assign duties, and oversee team management to optimize productivity.
Assist in marketing initiatives and promote a positive dining experience to increase customer satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment in accordance with hospitality standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in restaurant management or food service supervisory roles.
Strong knowledge of food preparation and food safety standards.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Squirrel POS or similar platforms.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training staff members.
Knowledge of food handling regulations and proper kitchen procedures.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual passionate about the food industry to lead a vibrant team and deliver memorable dining experiences.
