Executive Chef

Nita Lake Lodge Resort & Spa – Whistler, BC
Full-Time | Permanent | On-Site

At Nita Lake Lodge Resort & Spa, we believe exceptional dining experiences begin with passionate people, strong leadership, and a commitment to quality.

We're looking for an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team across multiple dining outlets, banquets, in-room dining, and café operations. This is an opportunity to lead a talented team, drive operational excellence, and help shape the culinary experience at one of Whistler's premier boutique resorts.

What You'll Do

Lead the day-to-day operations of all kitchen outlets across the resort.
Inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing culinary team while fostering a positive, accountable workplace culture.
Ensure exceptional food quality, consistency, presentation, and service standards across all outlets.
Oversee menu execution, daily production, quality control, and seasonal menu implementation.
Manage kitchen scheduling, labour, purchasing, inventory, and food cost performance to achieve financial targets.
Lead the culinary execution of weddings, banquets, conferences, and special events.
Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety.
Partner with leaders across the resort to deliver seamless guest experiences and continuously improve operations.

What You'll Bring

5+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience.
Experience leading high-volume restaurant and banquet operations.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing food cost, labour, inventory, and purchasing.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
A passion for coaching and developing culinary talent.
Red Seal Certification (or equivalent) is considered an asset.
