Job Title: Press Brake Operator
Location: Windsor, ON
Company: Sarata Manufacturing

About Us
Sarata Manufacturing is a growing custom fabrication company specializing in laser cutting, CNC machining, forming, welding, and powder coating.

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to set up, operate, and maintain CNC press brakes for forming metal parts to specification. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC press brakes to bend and form sheet metal and plate
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders
Select appropriate tooling, back gauges, and programs for each job
Perform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks
Make adjustments to ensure dimensional accuracy and repeatability
Handle material safely using cranes, forklifts, and lifting devices as required
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures

Qualifications & Experience

2+ years of experience operating CNC press brakes (Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic, or similar)
Strong ability to read technical drawings and understand tolerances
Knowledge of metal forming, bend allowances, and material behavior
Experience working with steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards

Preferred Assets

Forklift and/or overhead crane certification
Experience in a custom fabrication or job-shop environment
Basic CNC programming or setup experience
