Dynacare is currently looking to hire a Mail Room Clerk to join our Transportation team in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity, working minimum 40 hours per week.

Shift hours: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time (benefits eligible)
Location: Winnipeg, MB

What you will be doing

The Mail Room Clerk is directly responsible for coding of outgoing mail and updating the meter, soring all external and internal mail. The Mail Room Clerk, ensure all reports, memos and client notices are directed to the appropriate client and/or location in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Sort all reports (Physician, Histology, Cytology, ECG, MOH, Billing etc.)
Pack reports in appropriate envelope in preparation for courier delivery
Print envelope labels and addresses on envelopes as required
Direct reports for copy doctors and clients without mail slots
Operate digital mailing equipment to apply postage to all outgoing mail
Stamp with appropriate postage of all outgoing mail including independent physicians and copy to physicians (CC)
Work in a safe manner and observe all WHMIS and Company safety policies
Perform other general and housekeeping duties as assigned by the Manager, Operations

Knowledge, Education and Experience:

High School graduate
Requires proficiency in English.
Computer and keyboarding skills required
Visual acuity and attention to detail
Ability to maintain accuracy of documentation and processes
Ability to work well in a team environment with minimal supervision
Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately and thoroughly, with minimal errors
Preserve and safeguard all confidential employee information during the course of employment with Dynacare

Working Conditions:

Ability to lift and carry 5 – 10 lbs. (pounds)
Ability to work on feet for long periods of time
High traffic area, nose and temperature changes

**This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.**
