Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our cleaning and custodial teams in maintaining a pristine, welcoming environment.

Employment: Full-Time, Permanent - 35 to 40 hours/week

Education: Secondary school education required.

Experience: Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a related supervisory role.

Responsibilities

Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment
Assist cleaners in performing duties
Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, toiletries, equipment, and other housekeeping materials and arrange replenishment when required.
Respond to customer or guest concerns related to cleanliness and housekeeping services and take appropriate corrective action.
Ensure cleaning equipment is properly used, maintained, stored, and reported for repair or replacement when necessary.
Report staffing, performance, safety, supply, and operational issues to management and recommend improvements where appropriate.

Qualifications

Ability to supervise and coordinate cleaning staff.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, and clients.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable and able to manage multiple cleaning assignments and priorities.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
