Full job description

The Housekeeper plays a key role in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests by ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and facilities are clean, organized, and well-presented. This position requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to respond promptly to guest and staff requests.

Your contribution to the team includes:

Clean and maintain guest cabins, main house, lodge, and staff housing according to established checklists.
Ensure all service areas are clean, tidy, and safe, including proper disposal of waste.
Perform additional deep-cleaning tasks as directed.
Restock room amenities and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
Keep housekeeping trolleys organized and stocked at the end of each shift.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest and staff requests.
Maintain knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
Report maintenance issues (e.g., light bulbs, fixtures) to the supervisor.
Clean and sanitize outdoor areas, pavilion, pool, gym, spa, and boats.
Ensure exterior decks and public spaces meet cleanliness standards.
Remove trash and glassware from designated areas.
Work efficiently, maintain a neat appearance, and wear the required uniform.
Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and a positive attitude under pressure.
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols.

What you need to be successful:

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals.
Knowledge of safe lifting and handling practices.
