Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting where attention to detail and a strong work ethic are highly valued. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The Housekeeper plays a vital role in upholding the cleanliness standards that contribute to overall client satisfaction and safety.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used properly and maintained in good condition
Follow safety protocols and procedures during all cleaning activities
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Adhere to company policies regarding sanitation, hygiene, and confidentiality
Assist with special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as needed
Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment

Qualifications

Must be a Canadian citizen
Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Good physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks
Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain confidentiality of client information
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
