Note: Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of multi-client bookkeeping experience. Candidates without this will not be contacted.

About the Role - strictly bookkeeping role—no remittance filing or tax preparation involved.

What You’ll Do

Manage multiple client accounts with accuracy and efficiency
Handle Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), payroll, and invoicing
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets for accountant review
Assist with year-end preparation
Allocate expenses to appropriate accounts and perform account reconciliations
Maintain compliance with CRA guidelines, GST/HST rules, and Quick Method HST
Work with multi-currency transactions, exempted supplies, and professional corporations

Tools & Skills Required

QuickBooks Desktop & QuickBooks Online proficiency is a must
Familiar with cloud base programs - “tech savvy”
Teams, planner collaboration
Strong foundation in accounting principles
Excellent organizational and time management skills
High attention to detail and data entry accuracy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multiple clients
Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian bookkeeping standards
Must be able to navigate accounting systems with ease
