Full job description

About the Opportunity

Process payroll for salaried, hourly, unionized, and non-union employees, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
Review timesheets, earnings, deductions, labour allocations, and employee payroll changes, including hires, terminations, and special payments.
Prepare payroll remittances, government filings, ROEs, year-end reporting, and ensure compliance with applicable legislation and collective agreements.
Administer union payroll, including dues, benefits, classifications, and labour reporting requirements.
Reconcile payroll accounts, prepare reports, support audits and budgeting, and maintain accurate payroll records.
Improve payroll processes, support system enhancements, maintain internal controls, and ensure data integrity and confidentiality

About You

Minimum 3+ years of processing payroll for high volumes, including unionized employees and both salaried employees and hourly/subcontractors.
Advanced Excel- pivot tables, lookups.
Experience with a large ERP, Jonas or a different construction software is strongly preferred.
Experience with payroll software: ADP would be considered an asset.
PCP Designation is highly favourable.
Experience with system implementations or process improvements would be nice to have.

Pay Range
$30 - $33 per hour
