Job description

We are looking for motivated individuals to work as tearista at the Pertosa drive location, Brampton. Responsibilities include drinks preparations, brand introduction, make recommendations based on customer's preferences and taking orders.

Successful applicants must have good customer service skills, good interpersonal skills, able to work well in a high-paced environment. Preference will be given to individuals with tearista experience and willing to work various shifts, day/night, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilitie

Greet customers
Brand introduction/ awareness
Taking orders, understanding customer preferences
Able to follow drinks recipe correctly
Serve beverages and prepared food (ie waffles and ice cream)
Good knowledge of POS system (can process various forms of payments ie. cash or debit/credit)
Tidying work environment during and after work hours
Comply with health and safety regulations of the store.

Skills

Flexible work hours, available to work day/night including weekends and holidays
Strong arithmetic skills
Can perform well in high pace environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience:

sales: 1 year (required)
customer service: 1 year (required)

Work Location: In person

Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations.
Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling procedures are adhered to.
Assist in training new staff members
Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or as a barista is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is a plus.
