Full job description

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and skilled truck driver with hands-on experience operating a knuckle boom crane in construction environments to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in operating our crane truck for various construction projects and logistical tasks, ensuring safe and efficient load handling and transportation.

This position offers long-term stability for candidates who are committed and eager to grow with the company. We are looking for an individual who wants to build a career with us and is dedicated to maintaining a positive, dependable presence on our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a crane truck equipped with a knuckle boom crane to load, unload, and transport materials across construction sites and job locations.
Assist with general construction site activities as needed, including helping with material handling and logistics support.
Support the shop team with miscellaneous tasks such as organizing tools and materials, maintaining shop cleanliness, and assisting with mechanical repairs or maintenance.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery and efficient workflow.
Perform daily safety checks on the truck and equipment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, and other operational activities.

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, preferably with certification to operate a knuckle boom crane.
Proven experience operating a crane truck with a knuckle boom crane in a construction or related environment.
Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols.
Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
Physically fit with the ability to lift and move materials as needed.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to help out around the shop and take on various responsibilities.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
