We are currently seeking experienced Arborist/ Utility Tree Worker I or II Trimmer/ Climbers who want to join our team for a rewarding career in utility vegetation management. On the job training from the ground up to the treetops through the Asplundh Canada Training Standard is completed with every employee. Through the ongoing training and advancement program to our proactive wage scale we’re continually growing our group of highly trained and qualified staff.

Training and instruction in basic daily equipment maintenance of handheld tools, power tools, chippers, aerial lifts, other assigned equipment, and reporting deficiencies for repair.

Requirements

MUST have 1+ years’ experience climbing and/or operating aerial bucket truck, chipper, handheld tools, power tools, pruners, and other specialized tools.
MUST have documented hours of experience working aloft in an aerial bucket truck and/or climbing while in close proximity of energized electrical lines.
Valid Standard First Aid, CPR, WHMIS, Fall Arrest, and Electrical Awareness training.
Chainsaw Safety, Bucking, and Felling near Powerlines or equivalent training.
ISA Certified Arborist or willingness to obtain credentials would be an asset.
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence as a minimum, Class 3 with air brake endorsement preferred.
Able to work as part of a team in a physically demanding environment.
Own transportation to a common meeting area.

Location
