Full job description

Cropac is looking for a bright, friendly, and highly organized Sales Coordinator to support our sales and rental operations. Based in Oakville, you will work closely with our sales team while helping coordinate equipment inventory across our four Canadian branches.

This is an entry-level opportunity for someone with at least one year of relevant experience who is eager to learn and grow. Industry experience is not required—we will provide training to the right person.

We believe skills can be developed, so personality and attitude will be significant factors in our hiring decision. We are looking for someone who is positive, dependable, easy to work with, and comfortable communicating with customers and colleagues.

What You’ll Do

Maintain equipment lists, inventory records, and Salesforce data.
Organize digital files for each equipment unit, including quotes, cost sheets, drawings, specifications, weights, and photos.
Prepare purchase orders for manufacturers.
Update customer profiles and contact information.
Provide administrative support to Senior Sales Representatives.
Assist walk-in customers and respond to incoming sales inquiries.
Assist with vehicle ownership documents, licensing, and plating.
Support trade-in evaluations, equipment pricing, truck specifications, and ordering.
Work with Sales, Service, and Parts to coordinate priorities and equipment movement.
Inspect incoming equipment for damage and verify that it matches the ordered configuration.
Review returned rental equipment to confirm its condition and ensure all items have been returned.
Contact prospective customers using leads provided by the company.
Qualify sales opportunities and connect interested prospects with Account Managers.
Follow up with existing customers regarding products, pricing, and additional equipment needs.
Assist with proposals, RFP responses, trade shows, exhibits, and other marketing activities.
Help investigate customer service concerns and coordinate solutions.

What We’re Looking For

At least one year of experience in sales, sales support, administration, customer service, or a related role.
A college or university education is an asset, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
A bright, friendly, and professional personality.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Comfort managing several priorities in a busy environment.
Confidence speaking with customers by telephone, email, and in person.
A willingness to make outbound prospecting and follow-up calls.
Strong proficiency with Google Suite (Gmaill, Sheets, Docs ) and Microsoft Office
Comfortable learning and using new technology. Experience using AI-powered tools to improve productivity, research, communication, or administrative workflows is considered an asset.
Experience using Salesforce or another CRM is an asset, but training can be provided.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn about cranes, trucks, and specialized equipment.
Strong integrity, reliability, and accountability.
A collaborative approach and the ability to work well with different departments.
Ability to work on-site at our Oakville location and maintain a reliable daily commute.

Working Conditions

Most duties are performed in a professional office environment.
The position involves regular computer and telephone use.
Some travel may be required to support branch operations, customer meetings, equipment movement, or industry events.
Occasional work outside regular business hours may be required for trade shows, weekend events, or important sales deadlines.
Equipment inspections may be completed in a shop or yard environment.
