Position Title: Meat Cutter
Location: Richmond B.C. (V6V 3C8)
Starting Minimum: $21.18/ hour
Job Type: Full Time Permanent

Position Summary:
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Meat Cutter will be accountable for the processing and production of Beef, Pork, Lamb and other protein products.

Key Responsibilities:

Cut product to our specifications and premium standards while maintaining and upkeeping safety standards.
Ensure the quality of the received product is up to standard and dates are correct before processing.
Package products to customer specifications.
Ensure tools and equipment are sterilized prior to the end of the shift to fulfill food safety requirements.
Ensure proper weight, description, and date is recorded on the products label.
Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

Willingness to work with raw meat products.
Willingness to work in a cold environment.
Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing 30+ lbs. safely and effectively.
Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor.
Previous work experience is an asset but not required.
Training will be provided.
Commitment to safety standards and practices.
