Employer: Oakville Wyecroft Hotel LP (o/a Holiday Inn & Suites Oakville @ Bronte)

Location: Oakville, Ontario – Onsite

Employment Type: Part-Time / Casual

Schedule: Days / Evenings / Weekends / Shifts

Job Summary

The Holiday Inn Oakville @ Bronte is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Banquet Set-Up Staff to support the execution of meetings and events. This is a part-time position requiring a flexible schedule, including early mornings and overnight shifts, based on business needs.

Banquet Set-Up Staff are responsible for preparing event spaces to specification, ensuring all rooms are set accurately and efficiently according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). This role is essential in delivering a seamless and professional event experience.

Key Responsibilities

Set up banquet and meeting spaces in accordance with BEO specifications
Arrange tables, chairs, linens, and equipment with a strong attention to detail and presentation
Reset rooms quickly and efficiently between events
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all banquet spaces and storage areas
Support the banquet team to ensure events are executed smoothly and on time

Requirements

Previous experience in banquet setup or a similar role is an asset
Ability to read and execute BEOs accurately
Physically capable of lifting and carrying 50+ pounds
Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently
Flexible availability, including early mornings and overnight shifts

Compensation

Expected Wage: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
