Join the Toronto Arts Academy Family!

Toronto Arts Academy is expanding our midtown location and we want passionate violin teachers with academic or professional performance experience to join our award-winning team!

Responsibilities:

Provide private and occasional group violin lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
Create individualized violin lesson plans based on students' goals and abilities
Teach music theory, violin technique, and performance skills
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
Monitor student progress and provide feedback for improvement
Prepare students for recitals, competitions, and exams
Collaborate with parents to ensure students' success

Requirements:

Experience in teaching or tutoring, especially with children
Professional or academic experience in violin (and/or other instruments)
Strong knowledge of violin technique and music theory
Ability to educate and inspire students of all ages
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching music
Early childhood education background is a plus
