Le Club de golf Royal Ottawa offre une occasion stimulante aux serveurs de se joindre à l'équipe du Royal. Le serveur fera partie de l'équipe des aliments et des boissons et travaillera de 32 à 40 heures par semaine, ou selon les besoins de l'entreprise.

Sous la responsabilité du directeur de l'alimentation et des boissons, le serveur sera chargé de tous les aspects des opérations de restauration en salle et en plein air du club. Le serveur joue un rôle clé en tant que visage du club pour nos membres, en s'assurant qu'ils reçoivent un accueil royal et que tous leurs besoins en matière de service sont satisfaits.

Le serveur est principalement chargé d'assurer un service rapide et efficace de tous les aliments et boissons servis à nos membres. Ce poste requiert une personnalité ouverte, une éthique de travail irréprochable et du professionnalisme. Il est idéal pour le personnel d'accueil qui a l'expérience d'un environnement de travail rapide. De bonnes compétences en matière de communication et d'organisation sont également requises.

Responsabilités professionnelles :

· Accueillir et asseoir les membres et les invités à leur arrivée ;

· Préparer les tables en plaçant la vaisselle, les couverts et les verres proprement dans les endroits appropriés ;

· Inspecter les tables pour s'assurer qu'elles sont propres et bien disposées, et apporter les corrections nécessaires ;

· Prendre les commandes de nourriture et de boissons des membres et des invités ;

· Fournir un service courtois et efficace aux membres et aux invités pendant le repas ;

· Expliquer le menu aux membres et aux invités et les conseiller sur la carte des vins ;

· Servir les aliments et les boissons et s'assurer de la satisfaction des membres ;

· Répondre aux appels téléphoniques et passer des commandes à emporter pour les membres et les invités ;

· Remettre la vaisselle, les couverts et les déchets à la cuisine à la fin du repas ;

· Traiter et rapprocher avec précision les bons de service ;

· Former, encadrer et conseiller le nouveau personnel.

Qualifications :

· Certification Smart Serve requise ;

· Capacité à travailler selon un horaire flexible en fonction des besoins de l'entreprise ;

· Souci du détail et méticulosité ;

· Solides compétences en matière de gestion du temps et d'organisation ;

· Respect des protocoles Covid-19 ;

· L'enthousiasme et l'esprit d'équipe sont indispensables pour réussir ;

· Expérience dans le domaine des clubs privés ou de l'industrie des services, un atout majeur ;

· Le bilinguisme est un atout, mais n'est pas obligatoire ;

· La connaissance du service des vins est un atout ;

· Expérience avec un système de point de vente (Jonas, Maitr D', etc.) un atout.

Position Summary:

The Royal Ottawa Golf Club has an exciting opportunity for Servers to join the Royal team. The Server will act as a member of the Food and Beverage Team and be scheduled for between 32 – 40 hours per week, or in conjunction with business needs.

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, the Server will be responsible for all aspects of the Club’s indoor and outdoor dining operations. The Server plays a key role as the face of the Club to our Members, ensuring they receive a Royal Welcome and have all their service needs met.

The Server is primarily responsible for ensuring the quick and efficient service of all food and beverage items to our Members. The position requires an outgoing personality, immense work ethic, professionalism, and is ideal for front-of-house staff experienced in a fast-paced work environment. Good communication and organizational skills are also required.

Job Responsibilities:

Greeting and seating Members and Guests as they enter;
Prepare tables by placing dishes, cutlery and glasses neatly in the appropriate locations;
Inspect tables for cleanliness and proper layout, making corrections as necessary;
Take the Member’s and Guest’s food and beverage orders;
Provide courteous and efficient service to members and guests while dining;
Explain the menu to Members and Guests and advise them on the wine list;
Serve food and beverages and ensure Member satisfaction;
Answer phone calls from and place to-go orders for Members and Guests;
Return the dishes, cutlery, and litter to the kitchen at the end of the meal;
Accurately process and reconcile service chits;
Training, coaching and mentoring new staff.

Qualifications:

Smart Serve Certification required;
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs;
Detail orientated and meticulous;
Strong time-management and organizational skills;
Compliant with Covid-19 protocols;
Enthusiasm and team player attitudes are a must in order to succeed;
Experience in the private club or service industries a strong asset;
Bilingualism a strong asset - but not required;
Knowledge of wine service an asset;
Experience with POS system (Jonas, Maitr D’, etc) an asset

Salary details:

Hourly Rate: $17.24.hr plus incentives
