Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and improve our daily operations. You will be responsible for managing production, quality assurance, and operational processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness while aligning with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement operational strategies that drive business results.

Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

Optimize operational processes to enhance productivity and minimize costs.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on operational performance.

Collaborate with other departments to align activities and resources.

Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Address operational issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Experience in Logistics / 3PL / Fulfillment a must
Management experience required

Looking for someone to manage a team of 10-20 people
Someone who can deal with shifting priorities and workload volume
Will be responsible for all aspects of the warehouse including but not limited to safety and compliance to government regulations as well as company policies

Qualifications

Having a strong business acumen and work ethic is important to succcess.

Proven experience in operations management.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient in relevant software and technology.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Knowledge and understanding of financial statements.

Management Experience a must

Experience in 3PL + Logistics a must
Proficiency with MS Office + ease with new softwares
Lean Six Sigma training/experience an asset
Knowledge in warehousing health and safety practices
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Experience in team-building / coaching
Understanding of general finance and budgeting

Must have Permanent Residency / Canadian Citizenship
Must have clean criminal record

Clean drivers abstract
Must be able to get security clearances

Q-Endorsement Airbrake is recommended.
