This is not a position where you simply wait for customers to walk into the dealership.
The successful candidate will actively generate business by advertising vehicles on Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, community groups, online marketplaces, personal networks, and other approved platforms. You must be comfortable creating your own leads, following up consistently, booking appointments, and closing sales.
Your earning potential will be directly connected to your effort, consistency, advertising activity, and sales performance.
What You Will Be Doing
Digital Advertising and Lead Generation
- Advertise dealership inventory consistently on Facebook Marketplace and other approved online platforms.
- Use Facebook, Instagram, social media groups, personal networks, and digital marketplaces to generate new customers.
- Create professional and engaging vehicle advertisements that attract attention and produce inquiries.
- Take high-quality photos and videos of vehicles for online advertising and social-media content.
- Create walkaround videos, short-form videos, promotional posts, and other content that helps generate interest.
- Keep advertisements updated with accurate pricing, mileage, features, vehicle information, and availability.
- Refresh and repost advertisements when necessary to maintain visibility.
- Promote dealership offers, financing options, trade-in opportunities, warranties, and special promotions.
- Build and maintain your own customer pipeline rather than relying only on dealership-provided leads.
Customer Sales and Follow-Up
- Respond quickly and professionally to inquiries received by phone, text, email, social media, Facebook Marketplace, and dealership lead systems.
- Follow up consistently with new, existing, and previous customers.
- Convert online inquiries into dealership appointments and test drives.
- Greet customers professionally and identify their vehicle needs, budget, preferences, and financing requirements.
- Recommend suitable vehicles based on each customer’s situation.
- Present vehicles, explain their features and benefits, and conduct test drives.
- Negotiate professionally and confidently while protecting dealership profitability.
- Guide customers through the complete sales process, from the first inquiry to final vehicle delivery.
- Clearly explain vehicle pricing, financing options, warranties, protection products, documentation fees, and applicable taxes.
- Ask satisfied customers for referrals and repeat business.
- Maintain long-term relationships with customers after the sale.
Inventory and Dealership Responsibilities
- Stay informed about current dealership inventory, pricing, specifications, promotions, and newly arriving vehicles.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, accessible, and ready before customer appointments and test drives.
- Upload complete vehicle information, photos, and videos to the dealership CRM promptly.
- Verify that all advertisements and vehicle listings are accurate before publication.
- Maintain organized customer records, communications, appointments, and follow-up activities within the dealership CRM.
- Coordinate with management, finance, administration, detailing, and service teams to ensure smooth vehicle deliveries.
- Participate in dealership promotions, sales events, marketing campaigns, and community outreach.
- Meet or exceed monthly targets for appointments, vehicle sales, follow-ups, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
- Previous automotive sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Candidates with strong experience in commissioned sales, retail sales, mobile-phone sales, real estate, insurance, financial services, or other customer-facing sales roles are encouraged to apply.
- Experience advertising products or services through Facebook Marketplace and social media is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, follow-up, and customer-service skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Fluency in Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Mandarin, Cantonese, Arabic, Spanish, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or another language is a significant asset.
- Comfortable using smartphones, CRM systems, email, Microsoft Office, social media, and digital advertising platforms.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with an acceptable driving record.
- Valid VSA salesperson licence or willingness and eligibility to obtain one (It is fine if you need to apply after obtaining the job).
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Able to manage multiple customers, appointments, advertisements, and follow-ups simultaneously.
- Available to work five days per week, including scheduled weekend and evening coverage.
Schedule
- Flexible five-day workweek.
- The selected candidate will work five scheduled days each week.
- Weekend availability is required because weekends are an important part of automotive sales.
- Some evening and holiday availability may be required based on customer appointments and dealership operations.
- Scheduling will be coordinated with management to balance flexibility with proper dealership coverage.
Compensation
- Performance-based commission structure.
- Volume and performance bonuses.
- Uncapped earning potential.
- Bonus caps on top of it when targets achieved
- No fixed salary; earnings are primarily generated through commissions and bonuses, subject to applicable employment standards.
- Strong performers will have the opportunity to build a substantial customer base and increase their income as the dealership grows.
Working Environment
- Primarily based at the Zoomwheels dealership in Langley.
- Combination of showroom sales, online advertising, telephone follow-up, outdoor vehicle demonstrations, and test drives.
- Employees must maintain a professional appearance and dress appropriately for dealership duties and changing weather conditions.
- The position involves standing, walking, using a smartphone and computer, photographing vehicles, and driving dealership inventory.
- On-site parking is available.
