Sales Manager – Residential In-Home Sales

We're looking for an experienced sales leader who is passionate about developing people, driving results, and creating exceptional customer experiences. As our Sales Manager, you'll lead a team of Residential In-Home Sales Advisors, helping them achieve their potential while contributing to the continued growth of a customer-focused organization.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building high-performing teams, using data to drive decisions, and leading with a coaching-first mindset. You'll have the opportunity to influence sales strategy, improve processes, and make a measurable impact on business performance.

About the Role

The Sales Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, development, and performance of a team of Residential In-Home Sales Advisors. You'll create an environment where accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement are the standard while ensuring the team consistently delivers an outstanding customer experience and achieves sales objectives.

Working closely with leaders across the organization, you'll identify opportunities to improve performance, support strategic initiatives, and help position the business for continued success.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead and Inspire

Provide strong day-to-day leadership to a team of Residential In-Home Sales Advisors.
Foster a positive, performance-driven culture built on accountability, trust, and collaboration.
Set clear expectations and motivate the team to consistently achieve and exceed sales goals.

Develop Talent

Coach team members through regular ride-alongs, one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing feedback.
Identify individual development opportunities and create action plans to improve performance.
Recognize and celebrate successes while addressing performance challenges in a constructive manner.

Drive Business Results

Analyze sales performance and key metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Develop action plans that increase sales effectiveness, conversion rates, and overall team productivity.
Monitor forecasts and ensure sales objectives are achieved through consistent execution.

Build a Strong Team

Partner with recruitment to attract, interview, and hire top sales talent.
Support onboarding and ensure new advisors are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed.
Create an environment that encourages employee engagement, retention, and professional growth.

Collaborate Across the Business

Work closely with Operations, Customer Experience, Marketing, and other departments to ensure a consistent customer journey.
Share insights from the field to support continuous improvement and business initiatives.
Help implement new programs, processes, and best practices across the sales organization.

Support an Exceptional Customer Experience

Reinforce a consultative sales approach focused on understanding customer needs and recommending the best solutions.
Assist with escalated customer concerns when needed and ensure issues are resolved professionally.
Promote a customer-first mindset throughout the sales team.

Stay Ahead of the Market

Keep current with industry trends, changing consumer expectations, and competitive activity.
Use market insights to refine sales strategies and identify opportunities for growth.

What We're Looking For

Five or more years of progressive sales leadership experience in residential in-home sales or another consultative sales environment.
A proven history of leading teams that consistently achieve strong sales results.
A passionate coach who enjoys developing people and helping others succeed.
Strong business acumen with the ability to balance strategic planning and day-to-day execution.
Experience using sales metrics and performance data to make informed decisions.
Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with leaders across multiple departments.
