Full job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Service Manager to join our dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

Manage a team of service technicians and support staff.
Ensure high quality service and repairs are provided to customers.
Forecast goals and objectives for the department and endeavor to meet them.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations.
Keep current and comply with laws that affect service operations.
Schedule and prioritize service appointments
Establish processes and standards to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operations.
Conduct meetings with department staff to review activities and / or concerns.
Ensure high quality of conduct and workmanship from Technicians and Apprentices.
Monitor quality control by spot-checking repairs, either in the shop or during road tests.
Train and mentor service team members.

Skills:
- Strong leadership and management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and securely
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for record keeping
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Technical knowledge related to the products or services offered by the company
