Help Us Build Physiotherapy at Maples

Maples Chiropractic has been serving Winnipeg for 26 years, with an established reputation, a highly reviewed clinic and thousands of patients who have trusted us with their care.

Now we're looking for the right physiotherapist to help us build and grow physiotherapy at Maples.

We're looking for someone who loves active rehabilitation, strength, mobility and helping people get back to the things they want to do — and who is excited by the opportunity to help shape a department as it grows.

A Clear Vision for Physiotherapy

We're building physiotherapy around a clear clinical focus:

Active Rehabilitation Strength Conditioning Mobility Movement Exercise Progression Return to Activity

We already have experienced professionals focused on other areas of care — therapeutic massage therapists focused on massage, Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncturists focused on acupuncture, and chiropractors focused on chiropractic care for neuromusculoskeletal problems, with adjusting at the centre of their treatment.

When a medical perspective is needed, we also have access to Dr. Edward Tan, MD and QDoc Online Medical doctors .

That allows us to build a physiotherapy department with a strong identity around active rehabilitation rather than trying to be everything to everyone.

We're intentionally not building our physiotherapy model around passive modalities such as ultrasound, IFC, laser, shockwave or having patients spend treatment time attached to machines.

We want our physiotherapist actively assessing, educating, coaching and progressing patients — helping them move better, become stronger, regain function and return to the activities that matter to them.

When a patient can benefit from another member of the team, we work together and make it easy for them to get the care they need.

Help Shape What We Build

One area we're particularly interested in developing is rehabilitation delivered through both premium one-on-one physiotherapy and supervised small-group rehabilitation.

Our vision is for patients to follow individualized strength, mobility and rehabilitation programs with professional supervision and progression.

You don't need to have built something like this before.

You do need to be excited about helping us make it exceptional.

For the right person, there is an opportunity to help shape the department and eventually take on responsibility for program development, mentoring, team development and leadership.

You Won't Be Starting From Zero

Building a physiotherapy practice can mean spending years trying to establish a reputation and find patients.

You won't be doing that here.

Maples has spent 26 years building its reputation and patient base in Winnipeg. You'll be joining an established multidisciplinary clinic with an experienced team, strong systems and an ongoing flow of patients already seeking musculoskeletal care.

We also invest heavily in growth through Google and Facebook marketing, our online reputation and appropriate referrals within the clinic.

That's why we're comfortable offering a guaranteed $40–$50/hour while we build the physiotherapy department together.

Your guaranteed wage is not a percentage split and is not dependent on how many patients happen to be booked.

You'll also have the opportunity to earn performance bonuses as the department grows.

Who We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you:

Are a registered physiotherapist or eligible for registration in Manitoba
Love exercise-based musculoskeletal rehabilitation
Have a strong interest in strength, conditioning and mobility
Communicate exceptionally well with patients
Enjoy working with other healthcare professionals
Are coachable and continually want to improve
Take ownership and follow through
Want to help build programs and systems rather than simply inherit them
Could eventually see yourself mentoring others or leading a growing department

Compensation & GrowthGuaranteed $40–$50/hour + Performance Bonuses
