Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food and Beverage Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, accurately processing orders, and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service and cashiering, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and food safety. This position offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills in a fast-paced restaurant setting.

Duties

Take customer orders accurately using POS systems
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining quality standards
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including dining tables and cashier stations
Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety protocols
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues efficiently
Follow all sanitation, safety, and health regulations related to food handling and service
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery

Skills

Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for accurate order entry and payment processing
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation procedures in the food industry
Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
Ability to multitask efficiently with excellent time management skills
Basic math skills for cashiering and handling cash transactions accurately
Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus
Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members professionally
Hospitality mindset with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude
Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience while increasing sales potential
