Resort Housekeeping & Guest Services Associate

Twin Lakes Resort – Minden, Ontario

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time, Seasonal
Opportunity: Seasonal position with the potential to continue year-round for the right candidate.

About Us

Twin Lakes Resort is a family-owned waterfront resort in beautiful Minden, Ontario. We take pride in providing clean accommodations, outstanding customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests returning year after year.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and friendly Resort Housekeeping & Guest Services Associate to join our team. This position is primarily focused on housekeeping (approximately 80%), with occasional guest service and front desk responsibilities.

Key ResponsibilitiesHousekeeping (Approximately 80%)

Clean cottages, cabins, washrooms, and common areas to high standards.
Make beds and replace linens and towels.
Clean kitchens, bathrooms, windows, floors, and furniture.
Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and restock guest amenities.
Assist with laundry and linen organization.
Inspect accommodations before guest arrivals.
Report maintenance or safety concerns.
Assist with outdoor property maintenance, including yard work, grass cutting, keeping grounds clean, and maintaining the overall appearance of the resort.
Follow health and safety procedures and ensure accommodations are guest-ready on time.

Guest Services (Approximately 20%)

Welcome guests during check-in and check-out.
Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries.
Assist with reservations and guest payments when required.
Help guests with questions and ensure an excellent guest experience.
Support the team with daily resort operations as needed.

Qualifications

Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude.
Strong attention to detail and excellent work ethic.
Friendly and customer-focused.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically able to perform housekeeping and light outdoor maintenance duties.
Basic computer skills are an asset.
Previous housekeeping, hospitality, or customer service experience is an asset but not required—training will be provided.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays during the busy season.
