BMG Brands est à la recherche d’un(e) Designer technique / Technicien(ne) d’ajustement expérimenté(e) pour soutenir le développement technique et l’ajustement de nos collections de vêtements pour hommes et pour femmes. En collaboration étroite avec les équipes de Design, de Développement de produits et nos usines partenaires à l’étranger, vous contribuerez à garantir que les vêtements répondent à nos normes de coupe, de qualité, de confection et de constance, de la phase de développement jusqu’à la production.

Responsabilités

Animer les séances d’essayage et évaluer l’ajustement, l’équilibre et la confection des vêtements.
Fournir des commentaires d’ajustement précis ainsi que des directives techniques claires aux usines partenaires à l’étranger.
Réviser et maintenir les fiches techniques, les tableaux de mesures et les gradations.
Collaborer avec les équipes de Design et de Développement de produits afin de respecter l’intention du design tout en assurant la faisabilité de la production.
Examiner les échantillons de développement, de préproduction et de production afin de valider l’ajustement et la qualité.
Résoudre les problèmes liés à l’ajustement et à la confection tout au long du processus de développement des produits.
Maintenir des standards d’ajustement uniformes pour plusieurs marques et catégories de produits.

Qualifications

De 3 à 5 ans d’expérience à titre de Technicien(ne) d’ajustement ou de Designer technique dans l’industrie du vêtement.
Excellente connaissance de la confection, du patronage, de la gradation et de l’ajustement des vêtements pour hommes et pour femmes.
Une expérience de travail avec des usines à l’étranger et des programmes de marques privées constitue un atout.
Grand souci du détail, excellentes aptitudes en organisation et en communication.
Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office; une expérience avec un système PLM constitue un atout.
Disponibilité pour travailler en présentiel à notre bureau de Montréal cinq (5) jours par semaine.

Job Overview

About the Role

BMG Brands is seeking an experienced Technical Designer / Fit Technician to support the fit and technical development of our men's and women's apparel collections. Working closely with Design, Product Development, and overseas factories, you will help ensure garments meet our standards for fit, quality, construction, and consistency from development through production.

Responsibilities

Conduct fit sessions and evaluate garment fit, balance, and construction.
Provide clear fit comments and technical direction to overseas factories.
Review and maintain garment specifications, measurement charts, and grading.
Partner with Design and Product Development to achieve design intent while ensuring production feasibility.
Review development, pre-production, and production samples for fit and quality.
Resolve fit and construction issues throughout the product development process.
Maintain consistent fit standards across multiple brands and product categories.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience as a Fit Technician or Technical Designer in apparel.
Strong knowledge of men's and women's apparel construction, patternmaking, grading, and fit.
Experience working with overseas factories and private-label programs is an asset.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with PLM systems is an asset.
Ability to work on-site in our Montreal office five (5) days per week.
