Full job description

Early Morning Cleaner (5 Days per Week)

We are seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and appreciates having the rest of their day free.

Schedule

5 days per week
Early morning hours
All cleaning duties must be completed by 8:00 AM

Responsibilities

General cleaning and sanitizing of assigned areas
Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms
Emptying garbage and recycling bins
Dusting and wiping surfaces
Restocking supplies as needed
Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional environment
Reporting maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damages promptly
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
Trash, Glass and Recycling
Snow removal in the winter months
Cleanliness of exterior and Interior

Building Access & Security
This position includes access to the building during non-business hours. The successful candidate will be entrusted with keys, access codes, and/or alarm procedures and will be expected to follow all security protocols. Maintaining the security, confidentiality, and integrity of the premises is an essential part of this role.

Qualifications

Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Able to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Trustworthy and professional in handling building access and security responsibilities
Strong able to list chairs and move tables
Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and cleaning products
Reliable transportation for early morning shifts
Previous cleaning experience is an asset but not required
Criminal record check may be required
