Sales Manager – Danny’s Suites, SureStay Collection by Best Western

About Danny’s Suites

Danny’s Suites, SureStay Collection by Best Western, is a full-service hotel located in Beresford, New Brunswick. We are looking for an energetic, professional, and results-oriented Sales Manager to join our team and help grow our hotel’s corporate, group, event, and leisure business.

Position Overview

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and increasing hotel occupancy, group bookings, meetings, conferences, banquets, and other revenue opportunities.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who is comfortable working with businesses, organizations, travel groups, event planners, and individual clients.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement sales strategies to increase hotel revenue and occupancy.
Identify and develop new corporate, group, government, tourism, and leisure accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Promote hotel rooms, meeting facilities, banquet services, and other hotel offerings.
Generate leads through networking, business development, cold calling, email, and community outreach.
Respond to inquiries and prepare proposals, quotations, and contracts.
Coordinate group bookings, meetings, conferences, weddings, and special events with hotel departments.
Conduct property tours and client meetings.
Follow up with prospective clients and convert leads into confirmed business.
Maintain accurate sales records and prepare regular sales reports.
Represent Danny’s Suites at local business and community events.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities and identify opportunities for growth.
Work closely with the General Manager and hotel team to achieve revenue and customer-service objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

Fluency in both English and French is required.
Previous experience in hotel sales, hospitality, tourism, event sales, or business development is preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to develop new business and achieve sales targets.
Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other computer systems.
Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are considered an asset.
Knowledge of the Beresford, Bathurst, and Northern New Brunswick business and tourism market is an asset.
