Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. The Food Runner plays a vital role in ensuring smooth service by delivering food promptly and accurately from the kitchen to our guests. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in the food service industry, hospitality, and customer service, providing valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Deliver hot and cold food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and professional manner
Assist servers with clearing and resetting tables as needed
Ensure all food items are presented attractively and meet quality standards before delivery
Maintain cleanliness of service stations and dining areas throughout shifts
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service
Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling and safety protocols
Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment
Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns, providing excellent customer service

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality is preferred but not required
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests
Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes safely
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
Basic understanding of restaurant operations and serving etiquette
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Experience with cleaning, kitchen operations, or hotel services is a plus
