Critical Trauma Therapy has an exciting opportunity for a clinician to join our team at our St Catharines site.

Who We Are:

Critical Trauma Therapy is a growing private practice providing client-centered Social Work & Counselling services as well as Naturopathy, Psychiatry, Psychological Services, Restorative Yoga, and Dietetics. We're a team of over 50 clinicians and growing!

We work with various population groups and funding sources including WSIB, EAP, and private pay.

Position Requirements:

Interest in working with clients who have sustained traumatic injuries
Opportunities for working with adult and/or pediatric populations
Experience with using a variety of evidence-based therapy modalities – EMDR is an asset
Assess and treat clients virtually and in the community
Strong aptitude for report writing and attention to detail is a must
Develop and implement group programs and webinars
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time-management, and organizational skills

Duties:

Conduct assessments and interviews with clients to gather relevant information and data
Collect and analyze data related to clients' social, emotional, and psychological needs
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings
Provide counseling and support services to clients and their families
Collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare providers and community organizations, to coordinate services for clients
Monitor client progress and make adjustments to care plans as needed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Social Work
Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers
Professional liability insurance
