Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a Server to join our team at Korean Bistro & Bar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and experience working in fast-paced restaurant / bar environments. This role offers an opportunity to engage with guests, create a welcoming atmosphere, and showcase your expertise in food and drink preparation. Prior experience with POS system is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling procedures. Smart server is a must. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests while maintaining high standards of professionalism and efficiency.

Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to ensure an enjoyable experience
Use POS systems like Micros POS to process orders, payments, and cash handling accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth operations
Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible serving practices
Handle cash transactions, operate cash registers, and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes
Assist in serving food when necessary, ensuring timely delivery to guests
Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation standards

Requirements

Fluent in Korean and English
Previous experience in restaurant / bar industry preferred
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
Familiarity with POS system
Smart Server
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
