Brewpub Manager
The Firehall Brewery – Oliver, BC

Are you a hands-on hospitality leader who loves great food, craft beer, and creating a fun atmosphere?

The Firehall Brewery is looking for a Brewpub Manager to lead our busy Brewpub team. This is an on-the-floor management position — you’ll be serving guests, supporting your team, jumping behind the bar, helping with food operations, solving problems, and making sure the Brewpub runs smoothly.

What You'll Do

Lead the day-to-day operation of the Brewpub
Work hands-on as a server/bartender and manager
Lead, train, coach, and motivate the team
Create an energetic, welcoming guest experience
Oversee food and beverage service and quality
Help develop menu items, food features, cocktails, and promotions
Manage ordering, inventory, product costs, and labour
Schedule and coordinate staff based on business needs
Plan and execute concerts, festivals, private parties, and special events
Work closely with the kitchen, Bistro, brewery, and management teams
Promote our beer, food, events, merchandise, and brand
Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers, local businesses, and our community
Identify opportunities to increase sales, traffic, and repeat business

Food and beer knowledge Is VERY important. We’re looking for someone who understands food, ingredients, flavours, preparation, and menu development. You should be comfortable answering guest questions, making recommendations, talking about food pairings, and working closely with the kitchen team.

What We're Looking For

Previous hospitality management or supervisory experience
Strong food and beverage knowledge
Excellent customer service skills
Strong craft beer knowledge and a passion for the industry
Confident leadership and team-building skills
Excellent communication and organization
Ability to stay calm and make decisions in a busy environment
Creative, energetic, and proactive personality
Someone who leads by example and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
