Commis senior aux comptes recevables

New Roots Herbal est un chef de file dans la fabrication et la distribution de produits de santé naturels de haute qualité au Canada. Basée à Vaudreuil-Dorion, l’entreprise est en pleine croissance et recherche des personnes dynamiques et motivées. Responsabilités

· Gérer de façon autonome un portefeuille de comptes clients : assurer le suivi des comptes en retard, négocier des ententes de paiement et collecter activement les comptes en souffrance ;

· Évaluer les applications de crédit des nouveaux clients et recommander les termes de paiements et limites de crédit ;

· Révision régulière du statut de crédit de nos clients, âge des comptes à recevoir et procéder aux suivis nécessaires afin d’en améliorer les délais de collection ;

· Élaborer et recommander des stratégies de recouvrement et des politiques de crédit ;

· Mener la résolution des litiges et des déductions complexes ;

· Identifier et mettre en œuvre des améliorations aux processus de facturation et de recouvrement ;

· Réconcilier les comptes clients et résolution de notes de débits et autres déductions venant des paiements des clients. Faire les suivis internes qui s’imposent afin d’en assurer la résolution efficace ;

· Facturer les commandes des clients ;

· Traiter les commandes en attente ;

· Vérifier et approuver les crédits (retours) ;

· Coordonner les dépôts de clients et s’assurer de leur application en temps opportun ;

· Diverses entrées de données pour le département de la comptabilité ;

· Remplacements sporadiques à la réception (dîner, vacances, absences) ;

· Support à l’équipe de comptabilité, autres projets et/ou tâches comptables sporadiques.

Compétences et qualifications

· Détenir un minimum de cinq (5) années d’expérience dans un poste similaire ;

· DEP en comptabilité ou formation et/ou expérience pertinente ;

· Bilingue (français/anglais), à l’oral et à l’écrit (l’anglais est nécessaire, car nous desservons tout le Canada ainsi que l’international) ;

· Bonne connaissance de la suite MS Office, particulièrement Excel ;

· Être méticuleux, avoir le souci du détail, et capacité à identifier les données manquantes/incohérentes ;

· Solides compétences analytiques et bon jugement pour appuyer les décisions de crédit/recouvrement ;

· Fortes habiletés en communication et négociation pour interagir avec les clients et résoudre les litiges ;

· Sens de l’organisation, autonomie, et capacité à déterminer les priorités et à travailler sous pression ;

· Expérience avec le logiciel SAP Business One (fortement souhaitée) ;

· Expérience dans un environnement manufacturier ou de distribution (un atout) ;

· Titre de Professionnel certifié du crédit (CCP) de l’Institut de crédit du Canada (un atout).

Senior Accounts Receivable Clerk

Responsibilities

· Independently manage a portfolio of customer accounts: follow up on overdue accounts, negotiate payment arrangements and actively collect past-due invoices.

· Evaluate credit applications from new customers and recommend credit limits and payment terms.

· On-going review of our customers’ credit status and accounts receivable aging and perform the required follow-up to improve collection times.

· Develop and recommend collection strategies and credit policies.

· Lead the resolution of complex disputes and deductions with customers and internal teams.

· Identify and implement improvements to billing and collection processes.

· Reconcile account receivables and resolve pending debit notes and other customer deductions.

· Invoice customer orders.

· Process pending orders.

· Verify and approve credits (returns).

· Coordinate customer deposits and ensure their timely application.

· Perform various data entry for the accounting department.

· Occasional reception replacements (lunch breaks, vacations, absences).

· Support the accounting team, other sporadic accounting projects or tasks.

Skills and Qualifications

· Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role.

· Vocational diploma (DEP) in accounting or equivalent training, or relevant experience.

· Bilingual (English/French), both spoken and written (English is necessary as we serve all of Canada and have international clients).

· Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.

· Accuracy, detail-oriented and ability to identify missing or inconsistent data.

· Strong analytical skills and sound judgment to support credit and collection decisions.

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with customers and resolve disputes.

·Strong organizational skills, autonomous, and ability to determine priorities and work under pressure.

· Experience with SAP Business One (strongly preferred).

· Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment (an asset).

· Certified Credit Professional (CCP) designation from the Credit Institute of Canada (an asset).

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – (40 hours per week)
Permanent and full-time position

On-site only – 3405, F.-X.-Tessier Street, Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec, J7V 5V5
