Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, strong time management skills, and a passion for hospitality. Previous experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling procedures. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while delivering memorable dining experiences.

Duties

Take customer orders accurately using POS systems and process transactions efficiently
Consistent optimistic and friendly energy
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks responsibly as a bartender
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness of the service area, including bar and dining spaces
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
Manage cash handling duties accurately, including cash register operations and balancing at the end of shifts
Assist in setting up tables, cleaning workstations, and restocking supplies as needed
Uphold hospitality standards to create a welcoming environment for all patrons

Experience

Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently
Good time management skills to ensure timely service during busy hours
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling tasks
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to enhance guest interactions
