Job Overview

Lambton Kia is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and flexible Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of daily tasks, working with customers and team members, and helping support different areas of a busy automotive dealership.

We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude who is willing to jump in and assist wherever needed. This role is not limited to one department — the successful candidate will help support our administration, sales, service, and accounting teams while ensuring daily dealership operations run smoothly.

Primary Responsibilities:

Answering and directing incoming dealership phone calls in a professional and friendly manner
Providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with general inquiries
Completing customer vehicle shuttles and dealership transportation needs
Attending the Ministry office in person daily to complete vehicle licensing and registration transactions
Delivering and picking up automotive parts as required
Reconciling daily cash and credit card receipts
Maintaining organized dealership files, records, and documentation
Assisting with general administrative tasks and dealership activities

Secondary Responsibilities:

Supporting basic accounting functions, including:
Stocking in new and used vehicles into dealership systems
Entry-level accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks
Inputting invoices and related information into computer systems
Assisting with general accounting and administrative processes

No previous accounting experience is required. Training will be provided for the right candidate. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable learning new tasks, and willing to contribute to the success of the entire team.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a variety of daily responsibilities
Positive, enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership software systems
Experience with Microsoft Office programs in considered an asset

Position Details:

Flexible hours (Monday to Friday) with a guaranteed minimum of 25 hours per week
